I do book formatting for authors but I think there are many who struggle to do the bits in between – they need a project manager to bring the pieces together

Yes, Simon, this is an important upside of self-publishing. For non-fiction authors especially, the ability to add/edit/update information, with new editions, can be a boon, too.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site.

It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance”
between superb usability and visual appeal.

I must say that you’ve done a awesome job with this.

Additionally, the blog loads extremely quick for me
on Firefox. Exceptional Blog!

Interesting point Lis, and welcome to my website! It’s hard, I agree, to do the project management side of things – making sure that all the different stars (writing, publishing, marketing etc) all align rather than just replacing the role of the publisher in a piecemeal way. You don’t see many “book project manager” types offering their services – and it might be reasonable to guess such a service would be a lot of money for an indy.

It’s in fact very difficult in this full of activity life to listen news on TV, thus I simply use internet for that reason, and take
the newest news.

It appears as though ScotRail will lose the franchise from April next year to Serco. http://bbc.in/1ke7jdO
Not sure if this is a good or bad thing for ‘bargain berth’ style tickets given that they want to revamp the customer experience and run a ‘luxury sleeper service’ in Australia…

As an avid geographer and soon to be geography teacher, I was left stumped by my partner’s description of Biceps Land. I couldn’t believe that I couldn’t answer a “World” category question and then I was perplexed that I hadn’t heard of somewhere! Glad to learn that is a mythical land and nothing more. It drove me insane tonight.

Thanks for commenting Emma. How odd that you can’t book two tickets together at a low price. Have you complained to Scotrail about this?

Well done on the £29 ticket though – it proves they do exist!

Hi there are using WordPress for your site platform?

I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get
started and create my own. Do you need any html
coding expertise to make your own blog? Any help would be greatly
appreciated!

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting
my own blog and was curious what all is required to get set up?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty
penny? I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% certain.
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Simon
It’s Christmas Day and we’ve just finished a game of Articulate whereby we came across the mythical Biceps Land. I of course googled it and your page was the first to come up! On reading further I saw your error with Jesus – this seriously happened during our game too!! Also found myself describing ‘Gypsy’ under the nature category – the answer given back to me was bats (don’t ask)
Merry Christmas!
Becky

Greetings, I think your website may be having web browser compatibility problems.
When I look at your blog in Safari, it looks fine but when
opening in Internet Explorer, it’s got some overlapping issues.

I simply wanted to provide you with a quick heads up! Apart from that, wonderful blog!
