hello Simon, I’m chiming in late! I too am inspired to travel to all places mentioned in the song. I’ve been a fan of Lemon Jelly since Lost Horizons was released, and Rambling Man is possibly my favourite track. I found your page also looking for Mendhurst. A mystery indeed. I have a friend with the last name Medhurst. And I live in Melbourne where we have nearby a Medhurst Wines in the wine region nearby, so I’m going with that! As for Arumpo – your opinion? I can only find one in outback NSW, but at only 7hrs drive from home, I’ll take it!
