Comment on The Next Stop parts 2, 3, and more by Simon Varwell

Hi Gus, yes there’s a certain compactness about it. Though given the size of most places an overnight would at each stop would probably be warranted. Still not an especially long journey.

The abandoned railway lines would be an interesting (brace yourself) side line, though perhaps I wouldn’t walk too far down them. Leaving town at any stop would be rather against the spirit of The Next Stop I think. Of course, that gives rise to a whole other volume of the book: Scotland’s closed lines.
